What is hyaluronic acid?
It is a naturally occurring sugar chain molecule found in all skin and soft tissue throughout the body. It attracts and binds water in the skin, providing volume and hydration, supports and cushions collagen and elastin fibres. Dermal fillers are manufactured to produce a clear sterile gel for injection into the skin.
There are many brands of hyaluronic acid and each has a range of tissue tailored products designed for specific results. Leading and well-established brands include but not limited to:
Juvederm, Restylane, Teosyal, Perfectha, Emerval
Hyaluronic acid dermal filler provides instant results.
Sculptra (Liquid Facelift)
You may have heard this referred to as the liquid facelift. Sculptra is a synthetic, biocompatible and biodegradable injectable treatment known as poly-L-Lactic acid (PLA). It will stimulate your skin cells to produce more collagen to restoring lost volume and improve the quality of the skin.
